From Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport to 8, Champs Elysees, Paris

Can anyone advise how to get to the following address from Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport :

4 Rue De L'isly, 08. Champs Elysées, Paris, France
15, Place du Havre, 08. Champs Elysées, Paris, France 75008

Write those address on a piece of paper and give it to the driver of a taxi in the official taxi rank at the airport. Cost will be €55 - 60.

Are there two different people going to two different addresses?

feyfey Sep 21st, 2014 10:32 PM

Do I need to find the bus/metro station name first?

According to Google, 4 Rue De L'isly is closest to the Saint Lazare métro stop.

The same is true of 15, Place du Havre. Neither address has anything to do with the Champs-Elysées.

You can put the address into the RATP route planner.

Or you can use the airport's website:
http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/e...lic-transport/

RER would be quickest, but you would have to change at the Gare du Nord from Line B to Line E, to take you on to the Haussmann/St Lazare station.

Thank you PatrickLondon, do you have any idea that we are taking many luggage and is it convenience to walk within those exchange lines/stations?

Should I take the blue line? But I do not see the St Lazare Station on the map I attached. Please advise if I see the wrong map.

feyfey: The French have problems with making accurate maps and the one you reference is no exception. The RER train does NOT stop at Terminal 1: it stops at CDG 1/Terminal 3 - Roissypole and ends at Terminal 2. If you arrive at terminal 1 you will take a free tram to Roissypole to catch the RER. see http://parisbytrain.com/charles-de-g...aris-by-train/

Yes, Line B is the Blue line on the maps.

Both addresses are within a 3 block walk of the RoissyBus http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/adp/e...-roissybus.htm so do consider that. They will pick you up at any terminal and drop you wuite near where you need to go, so no fretting about transfers or missed stops.

That map shows you the direct lines into Paris and where you make the connections you need. As I said above, you change at the Gare du Nord for RER Line E to St Lazare.

If you have a LOT of luggage you might want to take a taxi instead. It will cost more but will be much easier.

What I said. For first timers with lots of luggage just get into a taxi. You can figure out the complexities of local transportation later, once you are not jet lagged and harried.

Roissybus usually doesn't work for Paris visitors but in this case comes within 3 blocks of the addresses in question. And it is no more difficult to take then a taxi, it just comes up a tiny bit short at the destination end.

No the transfers are not convenient with a lot of luggage (depending on what you mean by a lot). The rule of thumb is not to take more than you can easily pick up and carry for 3 or 4 blocks.

If you have more than that - or any kids or seniors who will have trouble carrying their stuff definitely hop in a cab (if there's room with all that luggage).
