From Munich to Venice
 

Hello everybody! Thanks for all the great advice so far. We are going to be driving from Munich to Venice. We are thinking about staying somewhere in between. Any recommendations....Near innsbruck or northern italy, perhaps.

Spend some time in the Sud Tyrol/Alto Adige Province of Italy, just south of the Brenner Pass. Beautiful scenery in the Dolomites region. Stay in a resort like Ortisei, or in a town like Bressanone or Bolzano. Another thought would be to stay overnight in Verona.

Although I have never overnighted, I would give a hearty recommendation to Trento as well as the other Alto Adige towns mentioned above.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

My vote would be to stay in Ortisei---charming town, lots of good hotels, nice ambience. A side trip farter into the Val Gardena, depending on how much time you have, is awe-inspiring.
