From Istria to Split: fastest route

We will be leaving Rovinj Sept. 29, and would like to get to Split as quickly as possible. Is there anywhere in the area we can fly from? Thanks.

check Rijeka and Pula airports.
Also, there is the jadrolinija ferry from Rijeka to Split.
