From Heathrow to Stansted?
Hi. I am flying into London Heathrow, and want to trasfer to Stansted for a ryanair flight to Dublin. What is my best option for getting from one airport to the other? Costs (in GBP - I am not american) and durations will be appreciated. Thanks all.

There's a direct coach every 30-60 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Fare = £18.00 (standard single)
Journey time = 1 hour 25-40 minutes, according to
www.gobycoach.com

You might want to book your ticket at www.gobycoach.com for one of their direct coach services from Heathrow to Stansted. Its about 18 pounds one way. The ride will take a good 1 1/2 hours. But be prepared for any roadworks/peak hour traffic on the major carriageways

~Lian

p.s. I reckon your dublin flight costs less?

Thanks for the info - most helpful. You are right, the flight to dublin does cost less. Are there any other, cheaper, options as I do not have any time constraints. Thanks.

The bus is the cheapest option that I know of. The train (Heathrow Express in to London, tube to King's Cross, then train to Stansted) will certainly be more expensive, but if you REALLY have plenty of time, would allow you to see something of London.

The coach will be your cheapest option. it is a long way and £18 is a real bargain.
