From Catania to Taormina
 

Will take a domestic flight to Catania Airport in the afternoon and stay at Taormina. Is it more convenient to take the bus or train from the airport? Any schedule?

There's an hourly bus from the airport, with a change of bus in Catania.
Journey time 1hr 25'.

Otherwise there's a frequent airport shuttle bus service to Catania station, from where Taormina is a 40-50 mins ride.

Bus will take you up into Taormina whilst the train deposits you on the sea far below town.

Do I need to make reservation (not sure if any flight delay )?

BM - If you enter 'Catania aeroporto' under citta di partenza and 'Taormina' under citta di arrivo you will get the full timetable.

[Departures are every hour, at 15 mins to the hour].
You have to change at Catania bus station.

The site doesn't seem to list the fare. It's probably about € 5-7.00
