1, that's right one. Do I win? Last year I applied for passports for my two teenage children, I got my first one this year. Getting the kids ready to head out has gotten me bitten by the bug. I will be in France for 2 weeks this summer with my daughter whi will done with her year as a Rotary Youth Exchange student. I love this site and have gotten a lot of advice. As a librarian I am doing extensive research, book, internet, people for this trip.

18 that I have really visited.

Using the test of driving through a country and stopping to touch ground (not airport tarmac)--which is the way my husband's family counts --I would be able to add several since I took an Europa bus trip from Athens to Salzburg in the 1970's.

34 countries. We are 55, so we've had years of opportunity to add to our list. We've been to Italy and France (among others) numerous times.

Hoping to talk DH into Australia/Fiji next!

Check out the "Traveler's Century Club" roster if you want to feel humble...

What fun just to read, remember and dream...

...Sweden, Germany, England, New Zealand, Tasmania/Australia (some Tasmanians don't really think of themselves as Australians), Mexico, Canada, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, THE U.S.A...

Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Greece, Turkey, Albania, Italy, Tunisia, Morocco, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Cuba, Bahamas, UAE and most of the United States.

27 countries at the age of 27. Will need to average more than 1 a year to reach the century club.

Next on list - South Africa, India and Canada.

Advice to rkkwan - don't call the Scottish Parliament a "council" in Scotland, it won't go down too well! Both Wales and Northern Ireland have their own Assemblies and devolution was voted in way back in 1997. London didn't decide - the people of the Home Nations did.

Wow--my number is low! If I can't count the two layover airports in Paris and Amsterdam, my total is 3...Budapest, Hungary; Novi Sad, Serbia; London, England. I think I should be able to count the US, even though I'm a native though. I've travelled and lived in several states in the US. That means 4 total if allowed to count the US too! I hope for more this summer though.

Hmm...Canada, Mexico, British Virgin Islands (do these count as a country?),Greece, Turkey, Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales (or should the last 3 only count as one?), France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy. So that's...let's see...14. Or maybe 11.
