French Pronuciation of this Word

We are taking the RER one-way to Versailles Chantiers (not Rive Gauche) because that's where the rental car office is located. Not quite sure how to pronouce "Chantiers." Is it "shan tear a" or "shan tears" or something I'm missing altogether!

Thanks you French pros!

Which reminds me:

Any definitive word on how to pronounce “Chantilly” correctly? (Big Bopper fans need not contribute.)

I’ve heard “Shon TEE.” And i’ve heard ”Shon tee YEE.” Either correct? Neither correct?

Shohn/Tee/ay
Said as one. The n in chantier is a nasal n.

wanderful, Chantilly is Shohn-tee-yee with a nasal "an"

Rather than using a written approximation, listen to the voices here and then try to imitate them:

There are 2-3 horse races at Chantilly a year. Quite a few Brits attend, including top hats. I went to the Grand Prix du Jockey Club race in June one year. It's the only time I've actually heard English broadcasted on the announcements in France. It's a fun race day and lots of people.

For those not knowing Chantilly, remember a James Bond movis that was partially filmed there?
