Sicily and Malta in late March
We are planning a trip to Sicily and Malta for about 16 days starting in late March till early April. Can anyone comment on the kind of weather we might expect. We're more about walking/hiking than sunbathing, so we don't tend to lie around pools.

IMO, 16 days is very little for just Sicily. You would need to be selective if visiting it in that time frame, let alone trying to visit both Sicily and Malta in the same 16 days.
For typical weather statistics, consult wunderground.com or any decent guidebook.

I was in Malta for a week this past spring - the last week in April. Weather then was too cool for any sunbathing, but perfect for being outside touring, hiking, or biking. We stayed right on the sea on the east coast and were glad we had long sleeves & jackets for morning walks or cool evenings.
The Mediterranean sea was far too cold to swim.
