free inter-European flights on Ryanair (pay tax/fee) fly between Dec 1-18 and Jan 6-Feb 10

From one of my travel newletter emails - Ryanair is giving away 500,000 tickets. Take a look at their website (ryanair.com) for further details. Have to book between Nov 15 and 18 and 14 days in advance.

Only for off-peak flights, usually from Monday to Wednesday. On other days the fare reverts to normal levels, which could be around £100 to £150 r/t.

Alec, maybe on heavy traffic routes, but I just checked for a Stansted / Nîmes trip Jan 12/19, both Saturdays, and it came out to 24.23 GBP round trip, all in...

Ryanair are forever advertising these kinds of offers (although, not free tickets before), but it can be infuriating trying to find one on the website. I did, however, find a real bargain for next February quite by accident as I needed to book anyway. I needed 3 returns - Stanstead to Montpellier (France) and got them with Ryanair at £3.50 each way! It still cost £75 when you added the tax, but that still works out at £25 per person return. Bargain!! And during the school holidays.
