We are going to Rome in few days. We will be flying from Amsterdam to Rome FCO airport. Are there free Baggage carts in Terminal 1 to put our bags and go to the Bus station which is near Terminal 3? Also, can we walk (inside or outisde?) from Terminal 1 to Temrinal 3 Bus station?

I don't remember free carts but was not actually looking for them either. Yes, walk from 1 to 3 both in or out.

In Rome as in all larger European airports IME, the carts are free but you need a coin (which you get back afterwards) to use them. They will take a euro, and some will also take a 50 centesimi or 2 euro coin (as an alternative).
