I, too, have been very pleased with the times I have stayed at the Instituto San Giuliana. The rooms are large and clean, the location is great and the price is quite reasonable for Rome. I have previously stayed in hotels that cost more, but don't measure up to the quality we receive from the good sisters.
To give you an idea of what it looks like, this link will take you to a photo I posted of the front entrance: http://www.geocities.com/shutterbug_...anguiliana.jpg
But, as I remember, the sisters are strict about the curfew. One night, shortly after midnight, I heard plaintive wailing in three languages from a lad who found himself locked out two hours after curfew.
Enjoy your trip, and don't forget to consume lots of gelato at the Campo di Fiore.

Athena & Betsy, thanks for that info on the location. I didn't have any luck with that virgilio site, but I have found S. Andrea della Valle on my map. I wanted to be close to Piazza Navona, and this certainly is. I appreciate the help.
shutterbug, when I tried your link, it said the page no longer existed. Is it just me?

Sorry about that. That link didn't work for me at home either. Sometimes technology gets away from me. Perhaps I missed a letter or something in my haste in posting. Try this one that I just copied from the screen.
