Frankfurt to Wiesbaden

How can a group of 4 travellers (with lots of luggage) get from the Frankfurt Airport to Wiesbaden?

Would the train be a good solution or should we just try for a Taxi?

Our hotel said they can supply us a taxi for 40 Euros. Does this sound reasonable? I just wonder if they could accomodate all of our luggage...

Thanks!

I don't think there is an express train from Frankfort Airport to Weisbaden, but there is a train that will get you there. I was staying in Mainz (across the river from Weisbaden), popped over the Weisbaden to see what's there and thought I hopped on the right train back to Mainz, but ended up with a scenic tour of the area, including the Opel factory on the way to the airport.

40 euros would seem to be a steal for such a tazi ride. Train may be as much and much more hassle with luggage.

I second PalQ - sounds like a good deal (make sure luggage can fit!).

40 Euros does sound like a good deal, but make sure the hotel understands how many pieces of luggage you have. (Why so much luggage anyway?)

Yeah, that price sounds good!

But just in case, there are local trains ("S-Bahn") that leave from the local/regional train station in the basement of terminal 1 that will take you into Wiesbaden directly from the airport, without having to change trains or anyhting.

Why so much luggage? Ha ha.

Cruisers, 3 women and one man. Need I say more?
