Frankfurt to Paris
 

Does anybody know which trains go to Paris from Frankfurt and which the fastest is. Also where I can buy tickets for the train in advance?? Thanks!

Try the German rail system website at www.bahn.de Down the left side of the homepage you'll see a section titled Travel Service. That's the door to the English section.

The fastest way I've been able to go is by taking an ICE train from the Frankfurt Airport to Koln (Cologne) and then picking up the Thalys to Paris. Both of those require reservations. The time is a little over 5 hours on that route. I think there is one direct train (a EuroCity) but it's more like 6 hours. Do you plan to go from Frankfurt itself or the Frankfurt airport?

If you feel daring you can take Ryanair from Frankfurt-Hahn to Glasgow to Paris. Its a round about way but the fare cant be beat. But you'l miss the country side.

I would like to go from the Frankfurt Airport - sorry I forgot to specify that!
