France Trip

My husband and I are planning our first Europe trip at the beggining of January/2016 but we are not sure about which french cities we should go in this period of the year. We will travel around Berlin, Amsterdã, Brussels and then France. We are spending 5 days in France, 3 days would be in Paris. Before that, we are planning on going to Annecy or Chambery for 2 days. Is that a good ideia? Do you have any suggestions? .

Spend your short 5 days in Paris.

Unless you are determined on winter sports I would put all of our time in France in Paris. Five days barely scratches the surface in Paris - and since it looks like you haven;t allowed for travel time between cities it seems like you would have only 4.5 days any way. And where will you fly home from?

Paris 5 days with a daytrup to a castle.
If you go to Annecy, you'll lose at least one day - or more than 20% of your available time.

Paris only. 2 1/2 days in Paris won't even scratch the surface. Lots more stuff to do in Paris than in Amsterdam, Brussels, Annecy, or Chambery (haven't visited Berlin).
