France plans

Jump to last reply

We are planning to visit France after a few days in Amsterdam. We will skip Paris this time and visit the Champagne and Burgundy regions. We are thinking about a train from Amsterdsm to Reims . My husband wants to see the cathedral. T h e next day take a train to Epernay for a few hours, then get a rental car and drive to Verdun. We want to tour the battlefield the next day. From Verdun drive to Troyes. Stay there one night and make our way to Beaune over the next two days. Return the car in Lyon and stay there a few days. Does this plan sound ok ? This is a quick overview, but wanted a general assessment.
