France - Nice and Italy

Hello, we want to travel to France (Nice) and Italy. Do you have any suggestions what cities we should visit not very far from Nice?
Thanks in advance,
Dalia

San Remo is about an hour by train from Nice - known for its flower fields surrounding town and a pleasant Italian city

Right over the border Ventimiglia, Italy is Italian thru and thru - check out the huge market that takes over the area by the international bridge many days.

From Nice, you could easily visit Monte Carlo, Antibes, Cannes, or one of the many hill towns close by. Most of these can accessed by public transportation.

All of the above places can be easily reached by train. You can also go by bus to St. Paul de Vence or Eze village. The trams in Nice are running now and the whole city looks great.
