France Flex Pass & Tickets

9/11 to 10/10 I will travel Germany>France>Switzerland>Germany.

I have determined that I want to buy Germany 8 day flex and Switzerland 3 day flex pass (better than two country pass because of discount on lifts in Switzerland).

France has me a bit confused.

9/14 Strasbourg to Colmar
9/16 Colmar to Beaune
9/18 Beaune to Lyon
9/19 Lyon to Avignon
9/22 Avignon to Chamonix
9/25 Chamonix to Lausanne (up to Lyon, then over to Geneva)

Several of the trains are TGV.

1. Can I go to the TGV website and buy TGV tickets? Will the ticket include a seat reservation?

2. If I buy TGV tickets at the TGV website, can I print them at home or do I pick them up when I arrive at Strasbourg Station?

3. If I buy TGV tickets at the TGV website, where do I buy RE tickets? I am guessing SCNF website, indicate country as Antartica (I am in USA), and then pick them up at Strasbourg Station.

4. For ease of travel (I am a senior and extra cost is OK), I am thinking to buy France flex pass for 5 days (Strasbourg to Colmar is cheap). IF I do this and travel with a flex pass, I need to make seat reservations for TGV. I think that I cannot do this at the station within 3 days of departure. Is this correct?

5. Can I go to TGV website, indicate that I have a pass, and make seat reservations now? Again, can I print them at home or pick them up at Strasbourg Station?

6. Can you advise on best way to go from Chamonix to Lausanne?

Much thanks for your help.
