France Charles DeGualle Airport

I had planned to fly out today on AirTahitiNui to Paris..but when looking at some info on the AirTahitiNui website I noticed that it said that you must have 6 months left on your
passport when arriving in France and I notice my passport expires July 25th..so now I
have to postphone my flt out today to go and get a renewed passport..does anyone out there know if this is true about the 6 months..I would arrive and depart long before my passport actually expires..over 2 months left on my passport...anybody have any knowledge of this..thanks Gerri
PS I'm flying out of LAX Los Angeles, CA USA

This is one of those things that Immigration may or may not enforce. What's more important is the airline may enforce it - and then you won;t be able to get on the flight to France.

Few if any airline will allow you to board because they will be responsible to return you if you are denied entry into France. The rule is quite clear, the passport must be valid for 3 months after your planned return date.

not worth chancing whether it would be enforced or not...get your passport renewed then go
