I bet the Burger King in France won't be serving the hot fudge/carmel sundae with bacon or the sweet potatoe fries.

Some of the best fries I have ever had were in Europe, but that was a few years ago and I have found that most restaurants use the frozen ones like the restaurants here do.

<i>Frites fraîches</i> is the term to look for in order to get non-frozen fries. Unfortunately, the majority of places that display this promise are the Turkish kebab places, whose fries I do indeed love (more potato, less crispy). The kebab sandwiches aren't bad either but I simply am not in the mood for them often.
