Going to Madrid and Barcelona; which iphone apps should I download?

The title pretty much says it all!
There are a LOT of apps for these cities and I'm hoping people can recommend a couple (preferably those that work off-line).
Thanks!

Why would you want something that works off-line? The reason for having an iPhone is the ability to actually check current information when you have access to the internet (WiFi), either free or paid.

If a facility doesn't have wifi, or if I am on the move, there is NO WAY I'm paying the ridiculous roaming data prices that AT&T charges and I don't want to add a data plan for international travel.
Both hotels are wifi enabled, so I can go online there without draining our bank account.

The 20 and 50 MB data roaming packages from AT&T allows you to use the service at a fairly reasonable price, but it will depend on which app you're using.

If you want to unlock the iPhone/iPad, you can buy local voice/data (pay as you go) from Vodafone, MoviStar and Orange.

If you are going to visit Barcelona, a useful app is "dic: ph", a two-way Catalan-English dictionary: simply enter a word in either language and it will find the translation in the other. Actually, this app is more than that, since it also includes a Catalan-Spanish dictionary, plus definitions and conjugation for Catalan, but for a traveller the main interest is the Catalan-English dictionary. It is not free and requires to be online.
