France 2 news with english subtitles
Anyone know how I can get France 2 news with English subtitles either online or on TV? I use to be able to watch nightly broadcasts in NYC. I am living in Hawaii now. Don't think they get the service here.
Maybe someone has figured out how to view from website? I can't see where link is available.

To view France 2 news (in French) I go to:
http://www.france2.fr/
go all the way to the right, staying near the top of the page, look for "LES JT".
Click 8h, 13h, 20h, etc news.
I have never seen English subtitles with the news.
The France 2 changes its home page quite often including the video news link.

Hi Greg,
Thanks, I have gone to where you suggest. I am trying to find a link with subtitles. France 2 is taking a leadership role in this abroad. I suspect its available somewhere online but can't find.
Do you speak french? Can you see if there is a link for english subtitles?

It so fun to see what is going on but I also like to watch them trip themselves up....
Makes me feel better when I am doing that home grown news.
Economist was talking about how france was trying to take the lead on subtilted national news broacasting abroad....what happened
Thanks to both of you for coming.

In my US city, I subscribe to the France TV5 station with Comcast digital cable for $9.35 (less than $10 for certain) each month. They also offer RAI (Italia) for $9.35 each month. I believe there is also a German station available.

Thanks Kerouac and Imperial Topaz.
You should make a thread that tells people about these and other international broadcasts you know about or subscribe to. I just love them
Rai, does it have subtitles? We had RAI in NYC but no subtitles and one Italian national told me that the news was so corrupt in Italy you really did not want to watch it and expect to learn anything. Just one Italian's opinion.
Kerouac Oleo has a lot of german language shows they don't subtitle DRIVES ME BANANAS or here in Hawaii maybe to eat more bananas LOL.
