Fourteen year old review's of her day in Paris

hi grandma,
here are some reviews for you from me

I liked walking up the Eiffel Tower but that would be only good for people who like climbing. It would have been nice if we could have climbed Notre Dame to see the top. I also thought the boat tour was great. We saw a lot of things from the boat. I also just liked being on the boat. I bet it wouldn't have been as nice if it were busy. Going to see the big glass pyramid and how big the Louvre is was enough for someone to see I think unless there is something you want to see inside.
For London definitely the Tower of Londonand the London Eye, and brass rubbing in St. Martin in the Field. I don't know what else right now.

I'm going to take her word that the boat ride is worth it!

Nice review too - that's more than I hear from my 16-yr old niece in a month.

A very sweet review. I also love taking the boats on the Seine, especially at night to see the buildings lit up. And you're right - it's not as nice when the boat is full.

Good review. For her next trip to Paris, she should climb the stairs to the top of Notre Dame (get there early- line can be quite long) and the top of the Arc de Triomphe. My 14 yo son thought those sites were some of the highlights of our Paris trip last summer.

Thanks so much Elainee. I will relay what your granddaughter wrote about your trip to my 10 year old son. Well done by the way. (My son doesn't write like that. It is chore just to get him to write a sentence. We struggled with his book report last night).

I think he might enjoy those very same things your granddaughter did. He does enjoy boat rides very much too.

I'm glad someone finally did this We get a lot of questions from parents about what to do with kids, but we never get feedback from the young travellers themselves.
