For those that have enjoyed books about Tuscany

If you have enjoyed reading Under The Tuscan Sun and all the series of books written by foreigners that have moved to Tuscany be prepared for a real cracker, I happened to meet a Tuscan author in Siena that has written a book that describes the foreigners that come to Tuscany. I read a few excerpts and its real funny! Can't wait to see it in the book stores!!

And I would be interested in hosting him at my bookshop near Pistoia.

The book title should be "Too Much Tuscan Sun" undertitle "Confessions of a Chianti tour guide" and will be published this fall.

On an aricle dated 2nd of June on the Chicago Tribune it mentions that soon a book titled "Too Much Tuscan Sun" will be published written by an Italian tour guide together with an American author called Robert Rodi

XXX

The bookshop is in Quarrata (the ugliest city of Tuscany!!!), but it is currently closed due to some works. At the present moment we have mobile stands at several Festa dell'Unità in the Pistoia area. I an only able to be at the bookshop at some weekends, for I earn my living in Milano working as a typesetter.

Of course, the author is Dario Castagna who is a frequent poster here. I cannot wait until it is published--please keep us informed. In the meantime, do not miss a new book I am now reading. It is VANILLA BEANS AND BRODO by Isabella Dusi--a real gem about an Aussie couple that moves to Montalcino.
