For Priceline experts - London - 4* - free rebid zone gone?
 

Biddingfortravel.com, the site for Priceline bidding advice and information, is down, so I am asking this question here. I think only London Priceline users will be possibly interested:

In the past, if you were looking for a 4* hotel in London, there was a "free re-bid zone" on the South Bank - was it Southwark?

Anyhow, it seems to have disappeared - anybody know about this?

Anyway, I took a look at Priceline, and you're right, the Southbank/Vauxhall zone is gone. So, there's no more free re-bids for 4* in London at this time.

FYI - all the EZ boards are having big problems caused by a hacker. Lots of information has been lost forever....I hadn't even thought about bidding for travel. That will be bad. There was a lot of historical information on that board that was utilized frequently. Apparently the hacker compromised both the regular server and the backup server. Another board that I actively participate on has lost a lot of "saved" information.

Yikes! Could this happen to Fodors? When I want to save info, I email it to myself, and have a mailbox dedicated to Fodors. Sure would hate to loose all that invaluable info.
