I think this is the Paris we are all seeing underneath the layers that the past hundred years have added as we walk around the city.

By the way, for those of you who haven't visited the Albert Kahn Musée & Jardins, it's a worthwhile journey...a bit of metro trek, but not too bad. We paid a visit there on a very full day in Paris in 2014.

If Kerouac sees this I hope he re-posts a link to his trip report on the museum, it was very good.
