i need help, i am the member of http://www.thaaly.com online community site, from there some one asked me to join their travel companion , let me know about this to join the travel companion with strangers? is it safe?

There have been several posts relating to "travel companions" on this board recently. They all sound very dodgy to me, and I certainly wouldn't click on any of the links mentioned in these posts.
