For Europe: Which website best for driving directions?

I was sure that I had used mappy.com for great and easy to get directions when planning a trip in France a few years ago. Now the site seems only for US travel.
MapQuest for Spain gave me the directions in Spanish. How can I get direstions for driving from Portugal (Faro) to the airport in Seville in English?

When you go to mappy.com there's an option in the upper left "other continents" and then choose "Europe."

You can also try viamichelin.com.

We've always used trains on the Continent, but have found Michelin excellent for UK.

I use viamichelin as well. Sometimes Mapquest

I use viamichelin.com and theaa.com (but that second one is for UK travel only, I think).

In the UK you can use AA or RAC routeplanner, which will both calculate the best route (time or mileage) and provide a printable map.

Just back from two weeks in France ... one of those weeks we spent driving around Provence.

I printed out directions from mappy and viamichelin before leaving home ... and found viamichelin's to be more 'navigator' friendly ...

I like Multimap for England, lots of charming details at small scale. Its travel times weren't so reliable in Scotland. So I checked travel times at theaa and www.rac.co.uk, the Royal Automobile Club.

Otherwise, I'm with travelbear, I use all of 'em. Including two others not yet mentioned, maporama and map24
