For Chocoholics in Paris

Just came across this while searching www.whatsonwhen.com. What a great idea - a chocolate dégustation!

Oh Lordy! As I sit here munching on chocolate chips ( that is all there is in the house!) I imagine how happy I would be to try this!
Thank you St Cirq~

Ummmm, yummy.

And yet ANOTHER great website to add to the Favorites list!! Thanks, mon ami, StCirq!! :)

The Mitterand Bibliothèque is in the Bastille, non, cherie??

Wow ~ a chocolate LABORATORY!! I'm impressed. Only in Paris!

Mare, I picture myself, very serious looking with lab coat and glasses, testing vials of chocolate. Grading them ... classifying them...I think I might have found a new career :D

ar ar ar And, of course, Scarlett, I shall be your lab assistant!C:) I foresee much discussion (er, digression?) where we will say "this one is the best", "no, this one!", "wait, let me try that again ~ you're right, it IS wonderful", "but let's try that other one again", "mmmmmm, chocolate". The chocolate testing and tasting would be endless!! :)

Trust the French to make a science out of chocolat!! *-:)

Actually, that would be in the 13th. But StCiq, one could easily envision doing THIS one day in Paris and doing La Maison du Chocolat another!!

Well, THANKS!! Have some definite chocoholics going with us in October. And Johnson&Wales just opened in our town and one of their 16 kitchens is a chocolate lab.

StCirq Sep 18th, 2004 12:25 PM

Heck, Beatchick, I could easily imagine doing them BOTH in the same day.......followed by a more traditional dégustation, no? ;)
