For anyone who's in Ireland on the 18th March

Please note that this Thursday, the 18th March

DUBLIN BUS
IRISH RAIL
BUS EIREANN

are on an all day strike

that means NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT

To make matters worse AER RIANTA (the national airport authority) are also holding a work stoppage for about 6hrs

...just so you can make alternative travel arrangements if necessary.

I heard that Michael O'Leary (Ryanair head) was trying to use the Baldonnell military airpot for the day. He is always trying to outwit any obstruction its fantastic. I hope he does it!

I heard on the news just now the airport strike has been settled so it will be business as usual. Unfortunately getting there still is a problem as the transport strike will still be on for 24 hours. Book your taxi now folks.

The airport stoppage has been called off and the Union is going to make an announcement regarding the public transport strike later today so hopefully that might be called off too.
