For 20,000 Euros, carve your initials in the Roman Colosseum

A Russian tourist was fined 20,000 Euros and was handed a suspended four-month jail sentence for carving a 25 centimeter "K" into an ancient wall in the Roman Colosseum. He was the fifth person to be penalized this year.

Seems almost to be a new money-maker.

"Seems almost to be a new money-maker."

If I was in charge, the fine would be higher and the jail-time wouldn't be suspended.
