Football in London and Rome
I Will be traveling to London and Rome for a few weeks in December and i would love to see some football mactches. I live in Australia and would like any suggesting on purchasing tickets to Premier League games in London and AS Roma games in Rome.
|
try www.ticketmaster.co.uk, they will carry tickets for most premiership stuff (when the fixture list is released.

Arsenal is pretty nigh impossible to get tickets for, but most other London clubs are okay (depending who they're p[laying)
|
I was able to get Tottenham tickets just by calling the ticket line the morning that tickets for the match I wanted to see went on sale. Got the number from the Tottenham website.

As the poster above said, I'm sure you can get tickets fairly easily to any club but Arsenal.

Get yourself to the Stadio Olimpico on match day (check Roma are playing at home or else you're watching ss lazio) and buy a ticket from a tout. There wont be a problem it's common practice, just be sure to avoid tickets for the curved ends (curvas) as they more boisterous elements of italian soccer fans hang out there. Sit with the tifosi and not the ultras.

Make sure you see Roma and not lazio as their fans are, well on the right of politics to say the least! People think English fans are bad, nothing compairs to the power that Lazio have over the club, merchandising and even player selection. a number of coloured plays have refused transfers to Lazio because of the politics. But! going to a seria A game has got to be one of the best sporting experiences around. Enjoy!
