FOOD IN PARIS
 
I am gonna stay in 2 ar on Rue Saint-Makr can you please tell me were will be clothest supermarket and good cafes .

I think it's supposed to be St-Marc. I don't know all the saints but I'm sure there wasn't a St-Makr. LOL

Is anything wrong with rue Saint-Mark? It is betveen Louvre and Opera,I am renting apartment over there.

no, there's nothing wrong with it. That isn't as big a residential area as some other parts of Paris, so there won't be as many supermarkets, if there are any.

It is rue St-Marc (not Mark). It's near the Richelieu Drouot metro stop. That's not too bad an area, you are near the Grands Boulevards and I like it up there -- lots of shops on bd Poisonniere and bd Montmartre. It is near the auction house and the Bourse, though, it is a very business-y area.

The closest supermarket might be at rue Reaumur and rue de Clery (a Franprix). Rue du Fbg Montmartre leads north from near there (up from metro Grands Boulevards) and it has lots of shops on it, including food shops. Here's an interesting one on that street, Ethnic Angel (world groceries):
