Food in France

A good one Dorothy ... you had me in stitches!!

Thought it might be a good time to bring up my favourite meat ala France - DUCK! Yup, give ma a magret de canard anyday!!

Trying food is great but I think one should still be aware of certain facts as to how this meat and that meat may have been produced.

My avoidance of Foie Gras has nothing to do with me being less adventurous, but rather, a concience thing.

What kind of grass is foie grass? Walter said that he tried some kind of grass in college and he liked it.Where can we find some in Paris?

Why bother going. Go to the faux Paris in Las Vegas. You can get all the burgers you want there. One of the most horrific and embarassing things I ever saw in Paris was a group of old ladies demanding their food be "Americanized". I was hoping the waiter didn't think we are all like that.

The primary dish you will find in about every cafe, restaurant, and bistro is the equivalent of beef stew (except it tastes great).

Please if you're not kidding try to be a little adventurous.
