since you'll already be in France you can just ask for fries and toast!!

One of my favorites is Confit de Canard, which is French for "A Duck in Prison that is throwing a Fit."

No, I kid. Actually it's French for "Preserved Duck."

See:

http://www.themediadrome.com/content..._de_canard.htm

Capo-you are sooo goofy~
Jackee-my advice would be to get a French/English menu translator book and carry it with you on the trip. The food is wonderful, fresh, great ingredients, when you read the menu , you will probably have more of a problem deciding between all the things you would like to eat, it is impossible to explain French food on here...read books! That is the best way to learn before you go and that will be the second best way to learn-experience!
Have a wonderful time!
