Hi, tod.
Not sure where you went wrong, but it's never taken me 35 minutes to walk to La Maison Fournaise - more like 10 at a leisurely pace. And for anyone needing to stop and ask directions, just a small note: Les Amis de la Maison Fournaise is the association of "friends of the Maison Fournaise" who support it through donations. If you stopped and asked someone where Les Amis de la Maison Fournaise was (not saying you did, tod, couldn't surmise that from your post), I'm sure they'd be mystified. |

Hi tod - thanks for the info. I'll be sure not to follow your route to the resto! LOL It sounds like you had a lovely time there.

In my 10 years of annual trips to France, I have never done Giverney and had decided this trip I would do it without fail. After reading the great info on this thread, looks like I will be in the boat of the OP - needing to make a choice between several!

Love your photos, Tod. Thanks. Will be there soon...

I think it took us longer because of the dithering after we exited the station. You know the 'direction sign right in your face but don't see it'?!
