Fodors has "Glitches "again!

Hey what gives? I can not page down thru the messages! Any one else experiencing this? It was happening as well at the USA site!<BR><BR>Fodors....anyone!<BR>JOHN

Every time Fodors says that the computer system is going to be overhauled, the Travel Talk response time goes down. We should be happy it comes up to see us at all.<BR>I am not sure what the problem is, but it has all of the symptoms of a low priority application. <BR>As I was once told when I was working for the Air Force on contract, "You guys got priority when nobody else has got priority!!"<BR>There are some other terms I could apply.<BR>One of the mysteries of life to me is why a technically inferior system like Travel Talk has a blockbuster following and a technically better system like Frommers gets about one fiftieth or less of the hit rate. <BR>

Well, Bob, to answer your last question, it's a catch 22. Frommer's doesn't get many hits, so it's not worth going there. Fodor's is heavily used so it is worth going there. I originally found Frommers -- before Fodors. I posted questions and never got any responses. I then came to Fodor's, asked the same questions and was overwhelmed with the help I got here. So I just put up with the technical problems from time to time.

To answer Bob's question about Frommers vs Fodors: Frommer's too-vivid layout makes my eyes hurt! All those red spots!

Not if you're presistent. It's some kind of timeout thing.<BR><BR>The shadow knows.<BR>
