D.B.---- definitely a road less traveled! Very interesting! The dancers on the Sevastopol pictures, are they Turkic? On the Odesa (one s!) pictures, what is the enclosed, gorgeous structure that looks like a covered sidewalk?

Great idea to link your page to other specific sites that relates to the history of the sights.

Great site!

Sorry Maira, but I don't think the photos you speak of are mine. They are probably ones from a linked site.

I don't have any photos of dancers, so I assume you are probably referring to Tatar dancers that are on another site -- which gives some history as well.

I believe I know which photo you are referring to in Odesa (the one with the huge glass ceiling?), which is on another site, but I do not know what it is. It looks to me like it might actually be a shopping mall. Go back to the site, and send the guy some e-mail to ask (it's under "Another's Travel Journal"). We were only in Odesa for a day (overnight), and did not see everything. But we were all over the town that evening, and did take a walking tour the last couple of hours we were there before almost missing our train.

My photo pages are available only by clicking on a large underlined city name -- everything else under the city names are links to other sites.
Hi Sally, just wanted to say hello and thanks for updating your Fodorites photos web page. Glad to see more people wanting to share their photos with others.

Maira, I'm planning another get together in December (probably the 11th). However, since it's a busy time of year with the holidays I may not get many 'yes' responses.
