Fodorites going to Madrid next week
 

I am seeing that a bunch of us will be in Spain leaving this week coming up. (igpjazz, for example). I think it is the best thing we could do to show support to the Spanish people and for all people who reject terrorism and wish for peace. I find this outpouring of support in Madrid and all over Spain amazing.

If anyone wants to meet up in Madrid next Thurs or Fri, the 17th or 18th, we can pick a time and place and try to do it....

Also will be in Seville from 20-23 if anyone wants to meet up there...

Hi Jparis - my friend and I are planning to be in Madrid on 19-20 and in Seville from 21-23 too.

Are you concerned about the bombings? Are you still going to Segovia?

We are arriving Madrid on the 18th so that might be tight but will be in Seville from the 21st leaving on the 25th for Granada. On the 21st, however, we will be stopping by Cordoba. Any suggestions on where and when? Thanks

Hi Chicalina and igpjazz and anyone who will be in spain next week....

Sounds like it would be best to meet in seville as everyone will have already gotten their "sea legs", so to speak. We are busy all day on Sunday as well, so why don't we say that we can meet for drinks at the Alfonso XIII bar at 8 pm on Monday the 22nd? How does that work?

Wow! I'll be get there on Thusday and leaving on Saturday. Where shall we meet? How do I get there?

This is quite a gathering of Fodorites!My wife and I also will be in Seville on the 22rd and look forward to meeting our fellow Fodorites at the Alfonso XIII. We hope to see all of you there!

This sounds like a good plan. I hope our train is on time. Will be fun to meet a fellow fodorite in Seville.
