Fodorite website changes

I have, for several reasons, decided to make some changes in the "fodorite" site I have been maintaining since 1999.

What will change:

1. There will be no new additions to the picture page -- in fact, for space reasons, there have been some deletions.

Part of the reasoning here [aside from needing some space for my own stuff] is that there are many sites available for putting pictures on the web that weren't readily available in 1999.

2. Probably no new GTG pictures -- while we still enjoy the events, I have been hearing more reluctance to having pictures posted because of the way things have been on the forum lately.

3. I WILL still post your travel websites on the website page.

I have enjoyed working with "fodorites" over the past 3 years -- it's just time for these changes. Thanks again for dropping by :)

Thanks S.fowler , for what you have done in the past.

And such a sad commenary that people no longer feel comfortable to post the GTG pictures.

It has been such a lot of work for you and those who have enjopyed your site , thank you!

We all will enjoy the links you are posting!

Maybe the newbies do not know the URL of this great page you created, and have been maintaining.

http://www.traveurope.net/fodorite/fodor.htm
Thanks so much, Sally, I have really enjoyed the photos. How sad it is that some feel they must disparage others and spoil this wonderful forum.
Joy

One of many to appreciate having this place to share a picture.

Thanks, Sally...

p.s. and still hoping you will share the name of "the good soufflé place" you spoke of, and I asked about - - in an e-mail to you a month ago...
The stalker above needs to clue in. He's the main reason that people don't want their personal info or images printed online.

Mina Dec 9th, 2002 09:11 AM

Sally, thanks for making the effort over the years. It was fun to see all the pictures from people who are passionate about travel.
