Amazon has the new 7th edition. Here's a link
http://www.fodors.com/forums/editrep...13&start=0
It's $14.95. If you don't want to buy online, you can put in your zipcode and it might give you a lead on a local option (looks like Borders has it in stock in the D.C. area for $21.95).

Thanks for bringing this to our attention billbar.
I guess I will have to join the rest of the contributors and ask if you would be so kind to post the quote so I can see what I said. I hope they corrected any spelling mistakes.
I'll have to pick up a copy of the guide when they are available in Canada.

OK, it worked for me, I bought one on Amazon.com. The quotes are all on the title pages to chapters.
stanbr, you have a nice extensive and substantive quote, from p. 368, Southern Peloponnese:
"Monemvassia is called the Gibraltar of Greece. The main street is about 4 feet wide; all materials coming into town must be carried by pack mule. The streets are a maze of twisting alley-ways down to the fortress wall. I felt tempted to turn my watch back about five centuries...
"The drive around the Mani took us 5 hours but we stopped a lot including at the Pirgos Dirou Caves. The caves are full of water and there is a half hour boat ride through one of the most spectacular caves I have ever seen. Greek mythology places Hades in Mani, and I wonder if this could be the river Styx."

For anyone that doesn't know, Zante is usually better known as Zakynthos. It's in the Ionians just south of Kefalonia. There's more info on the island and Shipwreck beach here - http://www.travel-to-zakynthos.com/p...hp?place_id=10
