Fodor concerns ?

What is the #1 concern of Fodor posters? Is it food? Is it quality housing at a low price? Or is it can I wear Levis into the Vatican?

Scarlett Oct 30th, 2005 10:49 AM

For some it is if cats have knees.
Mine is usually how many bags and shoes can I pack ..:)

LoveItaly Oct 30th, 2005 10:53 AM

# 1 concern, to always have enough money to travel when I want to and the good health to be able to I would imagine.

GoTravel Oct 30th, 2005 10:54 AM

Returning from a trip without roaches in your luggage?

ira Oct 30th, 2005 10:55 AM

How not to look like a tourist in a foreign country.

Travelnut Oct 30th, 2005 11:15 AM

The "best" way to get to the hotel from CDG...

Clifton Oct 30th, 2005 11:24 AM

Having fun

NYCTravelSnob Oct 30th, 2005 11:35 AM

Ditto Clifton.

viaggio_sempre Oct 30th, 2005 11:43 AM

That I might get sucked into a Fodor vacuum.

=P~

Beatchick Oct 30th, 2005 11:49 AM

LOL, Travelnut! Or the best hotel near CDG?

Actually, mine mirrors LoveItaly's.

Teri_B Oct 30th, 2005 12:05 PM

What essential thing did I not pack, that I didn't think I would need, but did.

viaggio_sempre Oct 30th, 2005 12:13 PM

Teri B -

He who shall, so shall he who.

Marianna Oct 30th, 2005 12:16 PM

How much do I tip the pilot?

Really, for me it is have I spent a reasonable amount of time researching and planning (we don't overdo this - just enough to have a sense of what we want to see and do - not a set schedule) so that any surprises we may encounter are pleasant, enjoyable ones or ones that are easily resolved.

Teri_B Oct 30th, 2005 12:20 PM

viaggio,

um...what??...lol

Marilyn Oct 30th, 2005 12:50 PM

Depends on the trip, no? So I guess I'd ditto Clifton as well.

cigalechanta Oct 30th, 2005 12:59 PM

I love mingling with the locals.
Never disappointed.

Simone1 Oct 30th, 2005 01:03 PM

Will I be able to get on the train with my “lightweight” suitcase?

iloveitalymore Oct 30th, 2005 01:03 PM

Just like Clifton said ... and asking everybody for the cheapest way to do it.

Brahmama Oct 30th, 2005 01:05 PM

Mine is always - how to have the best possible time (meeting locals and good food enters in here strongly) with the least possible money! That way I can travel again hopefully on our ever decreasing pension.
