Flying within Europe

I need to find a flight from:
Italy to London
London to Amsterdam

Could you suggest some airlines that fly within Europe?

For discount airlines like easyjet etc. go to skyscanner.com (or .net can never remember). Italy is a big place. I know BA, Volare & Alitalia fly Gatwick/Venice. BMI flies Heathrow/Venice.

We are going from London to Rome via London and returning Bologna to London and using Alitalia. We need to connect to Heathrow to go back to the US and Alitalia gives us an OK rate. Hope the strikes are over when we go!!!

From the UK, I've used www.airnet.co.uk successfully

There are also several similar sites - www.lastminute.com, www.ebookers.com, www.opodo.co.uk
