flying regionally
I am heading to Germany and Austria for 16 days in May. I have never been to Berlin and like to stay there I figure 3days. I am going to rent a car for about 10 days, but want to know if its better to fly south to the Munich area and rent from there or is the drive from berlin to munich ok or waste of time? Are there cheap one way fares through out germany? I also plan on visits in Salzburg as I have family to stay with there, then other areas of Tirol and Baveria, then working way back up to Stuttgart area and staying there with family til we go home from Stuttgart.

I checked those airlines and there website does not show flights from berlin to Munich area? How far is it to Munich from berlin? What low cost airlines fly there?

applefares.com allows you to search for flights on nearly every budget airline in Europe. It appears that DeutscheBA flies Belin to Munich for as little as 24.93E one way.
