fly rome to como?

I will be arriving at Fiumicino airport in the early evening and am wondering if there are any flights from there to Como or thereabouts (not Milan)?

The Milano Malpensa airport is close to Como.

The closest convenient airport to Como is almost definitely in Milan

Hi Nomad - Bergamo is fairly convenient (- 75 mins by train from Varenna via Lecco).

The other alternative besides Milan would be Lugano, I think.

Your have four airports to choose from. If your destination is the city of Como, then Milan-Linate and Milan-Malpensa are probably best. Alternatives are Bergamo, aka 'Orio al sera' and Lugano, Switzerland.
Sometimes Bergamo is listed as a Milan airport.

The websites Flycheapo and Whichbudget might be helpful.

Ryanair fly from Rome to Bergamo - their flights are regularly cheaper than walking.
