Fly from Iceland to Ireland?

Hi Fodorite travel experts,

Has anyone done a NYC-Iceland-Ireland trip? I'm trying to plan a trip between these three destinations and can't find a flight between Iceland and Ireland. Seems weird. Does anyone know why this might be the case and/or the best way to travel between the REK and DUB????

Thanks!

There are no flights between Iceland and Ireland. Best options are probably via UK through Glasgow, Manchester or one of the London airports.

I recall that Icelandair had a special deal a few years ago where if you booked roundtrip US--UK with them you got 2 nights free in a hotel in Reykjavik and a free group tour around part of Iceland. Did you check the Icelandair website?
