<<< A friend of mine is plannning a trip to Cancun in July and he says he will not change his plans. So far there have been no reports of swine flu from that part of Mexico >>>

Most of the Europeans who have caught Swine Flu were on holiday in Cancun - that does rather suggest that there is flu there

Alan, do you have a source for that? I checked just a couple of days ago and there were still no reports from the Yucatan Penninsula. I have been hearing it's coming from travel to the interior such as Mexico City. If you have a source I would love to see it because it might affect my friend's decision.

What I find interesting is the "disconnect" between "reported" and "confirmed"

In Georgia the media has been reporting "up to 70 cases" Well further digging revealed. 50 cases have been fully tested by the Health Dept. 49 were NOT Swine, 1 was and the remainder are not yet resulted. But the "up to 70" seems to be the "rallying cry"

A freind of mine is an ER Doc. He says he has seen EVERY child within 100 miles of the hospital. That's actually a bigger problem know. "Panic" No, if your baby sneezes they do not automatically have swine flu. If your child coughs they don't have swine flu. (Seriously some parents are showing up and when asked the 'symptoms' respond "she sneezed once today")
