Florence to Pisa Airport: any time to sightsee?

We're staying a week in Florence, after Thanksgiving, and a great airfare just came up that leaves from Pisa.

Would there be time to get from Florence to Pisa, leave luggage somewhere, do a little sightseeing in Pisa, and make a 2:40pm flight (on a Monday)? I'm mainly interested in looking at the Leaning Tower, and maybe going inside the Duomo.

Yes.

Frequent train service, trip is about 1 hour 15 minutes to Pisa Centrale. Check train schedules here:

There is luggage storage at Pisa Centrale train station. You can walk or take a bus or taxi from that station to the Campo dei Miracoli where you will find the duomo, baptistery, and leaning campanile. The Pisa Airport is one stop from Pisa Centrale, with a station right next to the terminal.

Thanks for the link, ellenem. I'll try to make good use of that mid-afternoon flight. Sounds like I can plan a couple of hours in Pisa.
