Florence: Self-guided Walking Tours?

Looking for good sources - would like to wander a bit both around and away from the major attractions.

Have you searched this site? I just found a thread where a woman posted her walking tours of Venice, Florence and Rome.
Also, Lonely Planet has some good walking tours in their Rome book. Haven't checked the others.

If your flat feet get sore, take a long bus ride:

Ah, bus 13, the scenic route. ((L))

Also, DK Eyewitness Florence has some walking tours splattered throughout the book.
