Florence Restaurant Rec?

Leaving next week for Florence/Tuscany and will be on budget-Any recommendations for reasonable restaurants for good quality authentic Italian food (at least a couple of courses) at good value prices?

Try typing "Florence restaurants" (without the ") in the search field at the top of this page. You'll see dozens of threads about this.

One of my favorite meals in Italy last year was at Osteria la Congrega. I don't have their contact info but they are listed on various websites and guidebooks. Its a small wine bar-maybe only 10 tables. Very intimate and the food was amazing. Not especially cheap, but definitely not overpriced.

I can recommend Osteria dell Agnolo on Borgo San Lorenzo between the Duomo and Church of San Lorenzo (right hand side if you are coming from the Duomo). Excellent wines, great food, and their prices are reasonable. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Il Ritrovo on Via dei Pucci. Order the Fortuna appetizer -- it's wonderful and easily enough for two.
