Florence, Italy—Carriage ride

For a mid-October trip to Florence...Can anyone tell me where I can find information about carriage rides in Florence, Italy? I would like to have information before I go. Companies? Websites? Costs? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think the OP is looking for horse drawn carriages. I have seen them in Piazza della Signoria I believe. Perhaps email your hotel and ask them.

I've seen one or two carriages around--since the tourist center is so compact and walkable, I don't thinking the carriages are that popular. As kfusto said, ask at your hotel.

Sorry about that, I did mean horse-drawn carriage rides. That's what I get for posting when tired. Thank you all for the responses. I am still curious as to how much they generally cost.
